Gairdín na Scoile

Cullina N.S. takes great pride in our Gairdín na Scoile. We are very fortunate to have Scarlett and Scotia's Mom Donna to  come to our school to encourage pupils to participate in the setting of vegetables. She shows us how to take care of our vegetable patch and encourages us to record the progress of the vegetables while growing. We grow lettuce, potatoes, spring onions, carrots and cabbage. It’s always very exciting to pick the vegetables before the Summer holidays. We usually raffle the produce between the classes.
