April 2018 Activities
Miss Keating taught us about the food pyramid as part of healthy eating week in Cullina. 
We visited Muckross Traditional Farms for Féile Chultúir Chiarraí. We had a wonderful day learning about the lives of people in Ireland in the 1930's and 1940's. We took part in bread and butter making and were treated to a music session at the end of the day. 
We had great fun completing a project on the Egyptians.

We had a visit from the fire department to teach us about fire safety in the home.

- The ‘Counties of Ireland’ poem helped us learn the names of the provinces and counties in Ireland

- 3rd class were busy learning about The Stone Age and created some ‘cave art’ of their own

- We drew some scary ghosts for Halloween

- 3rd Class had great fun designing a new front cover for the novel they are reading at the moment. These book covers are proudly displayed on our classroom wall

- 3rd Class are currently enthralled in their class novel ‘The Great Pig Escape’
