Junior Unit Archive 2018/19
September 2018
We have had a very busy month. Firstly we welcomed three new class members Adam, Aran & Mia.
We have been learning lots about the season of Autumn. We went on an Autumn scavenger hunt and found lots of items on the list. We have done lots of Art this month. We made Hedgehogs using autumn leaves, we read the story of the Owl Babies and created our owl babies and we also learnt about the artist Georges Seurat and his technique of pointillism we created autumn trees using the pointillism technique.
We have been very busy baking and cooking we have made lots of tasty treats!
We also had fun celebrating Adam's 6th Birthday!

We had a busy month creating some Halloween Art
We celebrated Mias birthday, carved our pumpkin and made chocolate apples
We loved dressing up for Halloween
November 2018
We made toast we put butter and jam on it and cut it ourselves.
December 2018
December has been a very busy month with lots of Christmas concert practice, art, baking and a day out to Killarney!
We were invited into Killarney on Ice and we had so much fun, some very good ice-skaters!
We made lots of Christmas art, some magic reindeer food to sprinkle on our lawns Christmas Eve and some yummy Gingerbread made which we loved to decorate!
