June 2019
We had the a fantastic trip down to Fota Wildlife Park for our school tour!
Our 1st & 2nd Class Bake Sale was a great success. We had lots of fun making, selling (and eating!!) the tasty treats.
It was all fun and game on the day of the launch of the CD 'Let it Be'
April 2019
1st & 2nd Class each received lovely baby chicks for Easter knitted by Ms. Mulvihill's neighbour, Tessie. They are all now gone off to good homes!!!
In PE this month, we performed gymnastics. The children were very creative showing off their new rolls and balances they had learned in their performances.
March 2019
1st Class really showed their creativity when they arrived in with crazy hairstyles for Crazy Hair Day. Even Fr, Ryan joined in on the craziness!!!
February 2019
One girl in the class reported from Dublin Zoo along with lots of pictures of all the animals she encountered there. An excellent reporter!!
We were very constructive in 1st and 2nd Class. making our 3D shapes with straws.
Love was in the air this month when we made beautiful lve hearts using a skill call 'quilling'.
January 2019
We had great fun learning our indoor uni-hoc skills! 1st & 2nd Class really got into the swing of things. We had some competitive matches also!!
December 2018
Sixth Class came to us to read stories. They read with great expression and we enjoyed all the different books.
We also did a big Christmas quiz to test our general knowledge. Everyone was in competitive form. We all enjoyed putting our brains to the test!
Oíche Shamhna 2018
We were very busy celebrating Oíche Shamhna in the classroom. We learned scary songs and poems. We entered the pumpkin-carving competition, we dressed up, we made some spooky art, had a popcorn party and also ate some báirín breac blasta!! Ní fada linn go dtiocfaidh Oíche Shamhna!

October 2018
This October, we brought nature into our classroom. We collected different types of leaves, berries, conkers, pine cones, an empty bird nest and even some dried honeycomb!
September
September got off to a flying start with our beautiful art work! We made 3D hot air balloons and used our imaginations to create a setting. Some of us made our hot air balloons fly over the countryside, others over the city and even some made their hot air balloons fly over the Earth!!!!
We also learned about the city of New York. We based our art on the New York city skyline. We learned how to create dark and light shades using charcoal.
